About The Park:

Austin Park is an off leash dog exercise area that is located off Bellerine Street in Geelong.  This park is for use all year round with no time or day restrictions.  Austin Park is a large grassed area which adjoins the foreshore area of Eastern Beach and is close to the centre of Geelong.

How to get there:

Austin Park is located in Geelong on Melways Map 402 L4.  The park is 75 kilometers south west of Melbourne and is located centrally to Geelong.  From Melbourne drive south west on the M1 towards Geelong, continue through the centre of Geelong on Malop Street and turn left into Bellerine Street.  Austin Park is located on the right side of Bellerine Street.  Parking is available in the car park on Ritchie Blvd at the end of Bellerine Street.

Facilities:

Parking available in car park on Ritchie Blvd and in surrounding residential streets.  Please check signage before leaving your car.

Walking Trails - located around the park and provide access to the foreshore area

Extra Information / Off Leash Walk Sheet Download:

When using an off leash dog park it is important that you still have voice control over your dog and in the event that you need to call him/her back that they listen and obey your commands.

When using off leash dog parks remember that not everyone has well trained and socialized dogs.  Consider talking to other dog owners in the park before allowing dogs to play together. 

Remember to take plenty of fresh water for your dogs as they will be thirsty after all that running around.
