About The Park: Aberfeldie Park is an off leash dog exercise area that is located off The Boulevard in Aberfeldie. This park is for use all year round with no time or day restrictions. Aberfeldie Park is located north of the Maribyrnong river and is accessible by public transport and by car. This park is a great place for dogs as the area is quite large and has many places for dogs to sniff around and run. How to get there: Aberfeldie Park is located in Aberfeldie on Melways Map 28 C6 and is accessible by both public transport and by private car. From Flinders Street Station catch the Train towards Craigieburn from platform 4. Get off at the Moonee Ponds Station and catch the 467 Bus to Aberfeldie and get off at the corner of Waverley Street and Holmes Road. Walk 200 meters down Holmes Road to reach Aberfeldie Park.. Families travelling by car can park in the reserve car park off The Boulevard. Parking is also available in surrounding residential streets ![]() Facilities: Parking available in reserve car park off The Boulevard. Please check signage before leaving your car. Dog poo bins are located near the car park to the south of the park - no plastic bags are available so please remember to take your own. Toilets are located near the cricket club house to the east of the off leash area. Walking paths - one path which follows the boundary of the park - please note that some parts of this walking track are on leash. The park also has park benches located around the off leash areas as well as some shaded areas Aberfeldie Park has 3 ovals and an Athletics track - the Athletics track is not an off leash area. This park is fenced along The Boulevard to help prevent wandering dogs on the road Closest Bus stop to Aberfeldie Park is located on the corner of Waverley Street and Holmes Road. Extra Information / Off Leash Walk Sheet Download: Aberfeldie Park is home to a dog club which uses the park for training on a weekend The walking tracks across The Boulevard along the Maribyrnong River are all on leash only When using an off leash dog park it is important that you still have voice control over your dog and in the event that you need to call him/her back that they listen and obey your commands. When using off leash dog parks remember that not everyone has well trained and socialized dogs. Consider talking to other dog owners in the park before allowing dogs to play together.
