About The Reserve: Ainsworth Reserve is an on leash dog exercise area that is located off Glengala Road in Ardeer. This reserve is for use all year round with no time restrictions. Ainsworth Reserve has a large sporting area which may be used for sporting events through the cricket and football seasons. How to get there: Ainsworth Reserve is located in Ardeer on Melways Map 40 A1 and is accessible by both public transport and by private car. From Flinders Street Station catch the Watergardens Train from Platform 5 and get off at Sunshine Station. Once at Sunshine catch the 454 Bus towards Sunshine West and get off at the corner of Ralph Street and Glengala Road. Ainsworth Reserve is across from the bus stop. Families travelling by car can park near the reserve in Vernon Crescent - check signs for parking restrictions.
Facilities: Parking available near reserve in Vernon Crescent. Please check signage before leaving your car. There are no Facilities at Ainsworth ReserveClosest Bus stop to Ainsworth Reserve is located on the corner of Ralph Street and Glengala Road Extra Information / On Leash Walk Sheet Download: Please ensure that dogs are kept away from BBQ areas and children's play equipment - this is a requirement in most council areas in Victoria. When using on leash dog parks remember that not everyone likes to interact with dogs. Please ensure that dogs are kept on a leash at all times in these parks and that you remember to pick up after your dog.
