About The Reserve:

Armadale Reserve is an off leash dog exercise area that is located off Sutherland Street in Armadale.  The reserve is for use all year round with no time or day restrictions.  Armadale Reserve is a small off leash reserve but is easily accessed as it is located close to Armadale Railway Station.

How to get there:

Armadale Reserve is located in Armadale on Melways Map 56 K8 and is accessible by both public transport and by private car.  From Flinders Street Station catch the Pakenham Train from platform 6 and get off at Armadale Train Station.   Armadale Reserve is a short 60 meter walk down Armadale Street.

Families travelling by car can park near the reserve in Sutherland Street.  Parking is also available in the streets surrounding Armadale Reserve - check signs for parking restrictions.

Facilities:

Parking available near the reserve in Sutherland Street and in surrounding residential streets.  Please check signage before leaving your car.

Armadale Reserve has limited facilities - please take all rubbish with you when you leave

When using an off leash dog park it is important that you still have voice control over your dog and in the event that you need to call him/her back that they listen and obey your commands.

When using off leash dog parks remember that not everyone has well trained and socialized dogs.  Consider talking to other dog owners in the park before allowing dogs to play together. 

Remember to take plenty of fresh water for your dogs as they will be thirsty after all that running around.
