About The Park: Chelsea Bicentennial Park is an off leash dog exercise area that is located off Scotch Parade in Chelsea. This park is for use all year round with no time or day restrictions. The park is easily accessed by public transport and by car. Chelsea Bicentennial Park is a great place for dogs as the off leash area is away from main roads and there is plenty of room for the dogs to run around. Chelsea Bicentennial Park maybe unavailable during sporting events on Saturdays. How to get there: Chelsea Bicentennial Park is located in Chelsea on Melways Map 93 E12 and is accessible by both public transport and by private car. From Flinders Street Station catch the Frankston Train from platform 8 to Chelsea Railway Station. Once at Chelsea Railway Station catch the 888 or the 889 Bus toward Nunawading and get off at Thames Promenade and First Avenue. Chelsea Bicentennial Park is located across from the bus stop. Families travelling by car can park near the reserve in Scotch Parade. Parking is also available in the streets surrounding Chelsea Bicentennial Park - check signs for parking restrictions. ![]() Facilities: Parking available off Scotch Parade and in surrounding residential streets. Please check signage before leaving your car. Dog poo bins are located near the toilets - no plastic bags are available so please remember to take your own. Toilets are located to the east of Chelsea Bicentennial Park near the car parking area BBQs and picnic areas are located to the north of the park Children's Play Equipment is located near the parking area Skate ramp is located to the north of the park near the corner of Thames Promenade and Scotch Parade Walking and cycling trails run through the centre of Chelsea Bicentennial Park Chelsea Bicentennial Park has 3 sporting ovals and a sports center Closest Bus stop to Chelsea Bicentennial Park is located on the corner of Thames Promenade and First Avenue Extra Information / Off Leash Walk Sheet Download: Chelsea Bicentennial Park may be unavailable for off leash use on the weekends due to sporting eventsWhen using an off leash dog park it is important that you still have voice control over your dog and in the event that you need to call him/her back that they listen and obey your commands. When using off leash dog parks remember that not everyone has well trained and socialized dogs. Consider talking to other dog owners in the park before allowing dogs to play together.
