About The Park: Travencore Park is an off leash dog exercise area that is located off Mooltan Street in Ascot Vale. This park is for use all year round with no time or day restrictions. The park is located along the side of the city-link road and is accessible by public transport and by car. This park is a great place for dogs as the off leash part is a large grassed area with a bike trail running the length of Travencore Park. How to get there: Travencore Park is located in Ascot Vale on Melways Map 29 A10 and is accessible by both public transport and by private car. From Flinders Street Station catch the 59 Tram towards Airport West. Get off the tram at stop 24 on the corner of Mt Alexander Road and Mooltan Street. Travencore Park is a short 100 meter walk north on Mooltan Street. Families travelling by car can park across from Travencore Park in Mooltan Street. Parking is also available in the streets surrounding the park - check signs for parking restrictions. ![]() Facilities: Parking available across from the park on Mooltan Street and in surrounding residential streets. Please check signage before leaving your car. Dog poo bins are located to the north of Travencore Park near the toilets - no plastic bags are available so please remember to take your own. Walking Trails - run the length of the park and are for use by walkers and bike users Toilets - located to the north of the park near the hockey centre Travencore Park has 1 sporting oval and is home to the Essendon Hockey CentreClosest Tram stop to Travencore Park is located on the corner of Mt Alexander Road and Mooltan Street Extra Information / Off Leash Walk Sheet Download: When using an off leash dog park it is important that you still have voice control over your dog and in the event that you need to call him/her back that they listen and obey your commands. When using off leash dog parks remember that not everyone has well trained and socialized dogs. Consider talking to other dog owners in the park before allowing dogs to play together.
