About The Park: Allnutt Park is an off leash dog exercise area that is located off Wheatley Road in Bentleigh. This park is for use all year round with no time or day restrictions. The off leash section of Allnutt Park is located to the north of the walking and cycling trails - the area is sign posted as off leash. This park is a great area to take dogs as the off leash section is quite large and can accommodate many dogs at the one time. How to get there: Allnutt Park is located in Bentleigh on Melways Map 68 C11 and is accessible by both public transport and by private car. From Flinders Street Station catch the Frankston Train from platform 8 to Bentleigh Station. Once at Bentleigh station Allnutt Park is a short 350 meter walk along Fitzroy Street. Families travelling by car can park near Allnutt Park in the car parking area off Wheatley Road. Parking is also available in the streets surrounding Allnutt Park - check signs for parking restrictions.
Facilities: Parking available in car park of Wheatley Road and in surrounding residential streets. Please check signage before leaving your car. Dog Poo Bins - located near the toilets - there are no plastic bags available please remember to take your own and pick up after your dog Toilets - located to the south of the off leash section near the walking trail
Children's Play Equipment - located to the south of the park near the walking trail BBQs - located in the picnic area near the play equipment Walking and Cycling Trails - located to the south of the park Closest Train Station to Allnutt Park is Bentleigh Station Extra Information / Off Leash Walk Sheet Download: Allnutt Park has specific sections designated for off leash exercise of dogs - please ensure that your dog does not go into areas that are not designated off leash such as near the children's play equipment. When using an off leash dog park it is important that you still have voice control over your dog and in the event that you need to call him/her back that they listen and obey your commands. When using off leash dog parks remember that not everyone has well trained and socialized dogs. Consider talking to other dog owners in the park before allowing dogs to play together.
