Dog Registration Requirements:

Auburn Council requires all dogs over the age of 12 weeks to be registered and microchiped.  Once the dog is registered with the council a unique tag is issued to the owner to be placed on the dogs collar. This tag aids in the prompt return of dogs that may be found wandering.

Number of Dogs Permitted Per House hold:

Auburn Council does not have a limit to the number of dogs per household on non farming land providing that the dogs are not a nuisance through inadequate containment, noise and bad hygiene.
