Mildura Rural City Council covers an area just over 22000 square
kilometers and is located in north western Victoria. The council area
is boarded by the Murray River and the South Australian border and the
area produces much of the states citrus fruits. The local economy is
based on agriculture and some tourism.

Dog Registration Requirements:
Mildura Rural City Council requires all dogs over the age of 3 months to be
registered. Once the dog is registered with the council a unique tag
is issued to the owner to be placed on the dogs collar. This tag aids
in the prompt return of dogs that may be found wandering.
Number of Dogs Permitted Per House hold:
Mildura Rural City Council allows a maximum number of 2 dogs per household on non farming land.
