Dog Registration Requirements:
 
Whittlesea City Council requires all dogs over the age of 3 months to be registered.  Once the dog is registered with the council a unique tag is issued to the owner to be placed on the dogs collar. This tag aids in the prompt return of dogs that may be found wandering.

Animal Release Requirements:
  • All dogs and cats over the age of 3 months must be registered with Council prior to release.
  • Owner identification is required at release.
