About The Reserve: Carder Avenue Reserve is an off leash dog exercise area that is located off Carder Avenue in Seaford. This reserve is for use all year round with no time or day restrictions. The off leash area is located between 14 and 24 Carder Avenue and 9 and 23 Wisewould Avenue. The reserve is easily accessed by public transport and by car and this reserve is close to other parks and reserves in the Seaford area. How to get there: Carder Avenue Reserve is located in Seaford on Melways Map 99 E10 and is accessible by both public transport and by private car. From Flinders Street Station catch the Frankston Train from platform 8 to Seaford Railway Station. Once at Seaford Railway Station catch the 780 Bus toward Frankston and get off at the Boonong Avenue and Fortescue Avenue Stop. Carder Avenue Reserve is short 170 meter walk from the bus stop. Families travelling by car can park near the reserve in Carder Avenue or Wisewould Avenue. Parking is also available in the streets surrounding Carder Avenue reserve - check signs for parking restrictions.
Facilities: Parking available in Wisewould Avenue or Carder Avenue and in surrounding residential streets. Please check signage before leaving your car. Children's Play Equipment is located to the west of the reserve near Wisewould Avenue Closest Bus stop to Carder Avenue Reserve is located on the corner of Boonong Avenue and Fortescue Avenue Extra Information / Off Leash Walk Sheet Download: Carder Avenue Reserve has limited facilities - Please take all rubbish with you when you leave When using an off leash dog park it is important that you still have voice control over your dog and in the event that you need to call him/her back that they listen and obey your commands. When using off leash dog parks remember that not everyone has well trained and socialized dogs. Consider talking to other dog owners in the park before allowing dogs to play together.
