About The Reserve:

Frenches Forest Showgrounds is an off leash dog exercise area that is located off Paramatta Road in Werribee.  This reserve is for use all year round with no time or day restrictions.  The reserve is located across from the Galvin Park sports area and is accessable by public transport and by car.  This reserve is a fantastic place for dogs as the area is quite large and there is plenty of room for the dogs to run around.

How to get there:

Wilson Reserve is located in Werribee on Melways Map 205 J4 and is accessable by both public transport and by private car.  From Flinders Street Station catch the Werribee Train from platform 5 to Werribee Station.  Once in Werribee catch the 436 Hoppers Crossing Bus and get off at Wilson Reserve and Paramatta Road.  

Families travelling by car can park across from the reserve in Anthony Court.  Parking is also available in the streets surrounding the reserve - check signs for parking restrictions.

Facilities:

Parking available across from the reserve in Anthony Court and in surrounding residential streets.  Please check signage before leaving your car.

Dog poo bins are located on the northern side of the reserve - no plastic bags are available so please remember to take your own.

Extra Information / Off Leash Walk Sheet Download:

When using an off leash dog park it is important that you still have voice control over your dog and in the event that you need to call him/her back that they listen and obey your commands.

When using off leash dog parks remember that not everyone has well trained and socialized dogs.  Consider talking to other dog owners in the park before allowing dogs to play together. 

Remember to take plenty of fresh water for your dogs as they will be thirsty after all that running around.
