Mornington Peninsula Shire Council About The Park: Mt Eliza Regional Park is an off leash dog exercise area that is located off Two Bays Road in Mt Eliza. This park is for use all year round with no time or day restrictions. The park has many walking tracks and a small lake and is accessible by public transport and by car. Mt Eliza Regional Park is a great place for dogs as the area is quite large and there is plenty of room for even large numbers of dogs to run around. This park also offers a great walking track which takes you around the lake and into the picnic and BBQ areas. How to get there: Mt Eliza Regional Park is located in Mt Eliza on Melways Map 105 K8 and is accessible by both public transport and by private car. From Flinders Street Station catch the Frankston Train from platform 8 to Seaford Railway Station. Once at Seaford catch the 780 Bus toward Frankston and get off at the corner of the Nepean Hwy and Playne Street. From this stop catch the 772 Bus towards Eliza Heights and get off at Humphries road and Rosedale Grove in Frankston South. Mt Eliza Regional Park is a 2.5 km walk down Two Bays Road to the entrance. Families travelling by car can park in the reserve car park off Two Bays Road. Parking is also available in the streets surrounding the park - check signs for parking restrictions.
Facilities: Parking available in reserve car park off Two Bays Road and in surrounding residential streets. Please check signage before leaving your car. Dog poo bins are located near the car park and toilet area - no plastic bags are available so please remember to take your own. Toilets are located in the southern end of the car park near Two Bays Road BBQs are located in the picnic area to the south of the lake Picnic areas are located around the lake Walking paths - main path follows the boundary of the lake and leads to the picnic and BBQ areas Children's Play Equipment - located south of the lake just off the walking trail Closest Bus stop to Mt Eliza Regional Park is located on the Corner of Humphries Road and Rosedale Grove Extra Information / Off Leash Walk Sheet Download: Mt Eliza Regional Park has several BBQ and picnic areas - be sure that your dog does not enter these areas while off leash Off leash area is located to the north of the lake and is quite a large area Access to the park is via the fire trail When using an off leash dog park it is important that you still have voice control over your dog and in the event that you need to call him/her back that they listen and obey your commands. When using off leash dog parks remember that not everyone has well trained and socialized dogs. Consider talking to other dog owners in the park before allowing dogs to play together.
