About The Wetlands:

Seaford Wetlands provide a fantastic opportunity for you to enjoy a great walk with the dog (on leash throughout the wetlands) and appreciate the bird, animal and plant life that inhabit this wetland area.  The wetlands has walking and cycling trails throughout with a viewing platform located to the south for those who wish to stop and admire the bird life.  Seaford Wetlands is a great dog walking area which is close to public transport with the train station only minutes away.

How to get there:

Seaford Wetlands is located in Seaford on Melways Map 99 G3 and is accessible by both public transport and by private car.  From Flinders street station catch the Frankston Train from Platform 8 to Seaford Train Station.  Once in Seaford the Wetlands is a short 500 meter walk down McKenzie Street.

Families travelling by car can park across from the Wetlands in Austin Road.  Parking is also available in the streets surrounding Seaford Wetlands  - check signs for parking restrictions.

Parking available across from the wetlands in Austin Street and in surrounding residential streets.  Please check signage before leaving your car especially in the summer months.

Walking trails - there is are walking and cycling trails around the wetlands area

Viewing Platform - accessible via the walking trail - located to the south of the wetlands

Closest Train Station to Seaford Wetlands is Seaford Train Station 

Extra Information / Walk Sheet Download:

Seaford Wetlands has few facilities - please remember to pick up after your dog and please take all rubbish with you.  Wetlands are fragile environments - make sure that you keep your dog away from bird life.

Remember to take plenty of fresh water for your dogs as they will need a drink after a long walk - especially in the summer time.
